Windows xp auto lock off

This takes forever. I have adminstrator rights. How can I disable this feature, or at least increase the time before it locks me out. I forgot to mention.

People have talked about schreen savers causing this. I have gone to my control panel and display properties and I cannot find a tab for screen saver. So I can't disable what I cannot find. But as I said, I do have adminstrator rights on this pc. It's probably a policy on your domain. I assume you are not the domain administrator? If you are an administrator, you should be able to get the screen saver tab back.

Then on the right pane, double click the entry: Screensaver. Select: Not Configured. Then Right Click on an empty part of your desktop select properties, and there should now be a ScreenSaver Tab. In there should be the logoff timeouts. I second what erikhertzel posted as well as what vacunita posted if in fact you are a domain administrator, but I'm guessing your not.

Thanks everyone - I discovered I do not have network adminstrative prividelges. Learn how to pair devices using Bluetooth. Select Dynamic lock , then select the Allow Windows to automatically lock your device when you're away check box. Take your phone with you when you move away from your PC, and it will automatically lock a minute or so after you're out of Bluetooth range.
